Stephen Bellm is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and founder of Kashi Kollective, a World Fusion musical group. He grew up in America studying classical piano, guitar and trumpet, and lived in Varanasi, India for some years studying Indian Classical Music, on the Tabla, with Sri Pandit Ishwarlal Mishra. In his solar powered studio Stephen collaborated with David Mages (woodwinds, dilruba, hulusi, sax) and Kari Field (Sitar) to create Kashi Kollective’s first album, ‘The Space Between.’ After signing a deal with Ninewells Music Int’l, Stephen worked closely with the late producer John Rawsthorne on Kashi Kollective’s second album, ‘Shadow & Light.’ This new alignment led to the collaboration with Rajendra Teredesai, and brought the group into a new realm of meditation music.
